Adrenaline Centre is managed by Rossendale Leisure Trust which is the largest not for profit social enterprise in Rossendale. The Trust was created in 2004 and their aim is to promote an active and healthy lifestyle throughout the valley and beyond.
In their colourful, modern centre there is something for everyone, from an indoor state of the art climbing wall to high energy fitness classes, and they can guarantee satisfaction for all. They employ a range of fully qualified staff who help to shape and create the friendly, welcoming atmosphere which is loved by their customers.
Over the last couple of years they have updated their gym facilities, refurbished squash courts, added a fully functioning café and a range of thrill-seeking activities to be enjoyed by families. As an organisation they continuously thrive to create new projects and ideas to benefit their customers and bring something new to the area, encouraging fun and active lifestyles.
We believe and encourage a completely collaborative process when working with clients to create their new corporate branding. We ran numerous workshops with key staff members and clients to garner feedback and to truly understand the ethos and the aspirations the centre were trying to achieve and portray.
Once we understood this, we then held a “brainstorming” session with our team of eight graphic designers. Here ideas, themes, colours and strap lines are bounced backwards and forwards until we have loads of great ideas to work with. From this meeting, we then assigned a team of our creative designers to work on their designs collaboratively to be presented to the client.
With all projects, extensive diligence is carried out and the client’s ethos, values and aspirations are always at the heart of everything we produce. Once our designers have created various logo options we then held an internal review meeting where the logos and ideas are discussed and critiqued.
After this meeting we formulated our presentation to show the customer. You can see from the pictures the development of our ideas to our final designs used for the centre.
WEBSITE AND SOCIAL MEDIA
The customer was looking to create a website and social media brand that would allow potential visitors to get all the information, latest offers, news and services that the leisure facilities provided, whilst at the same time give live feeds from social media platforms to engage with customers in real time. Certain facilities were required to have an online booking feature with an online payment gateway. Also included with the booking system on the website we included a reporting system allowing Adrenaline to forecast potential visitors. Social media was to play a key part in the brand development and promotion of the facilities.
Such an important part of a client’s marketing campaign and made so much easier with fantastic facilities and equipment that was readily available at Adrenaline. Media Village photography team readily bought into the benefits of the centre and knew that others would too if images could be captured that really portrayed the activities, events and fun people could have from using the facilities. Bright, colourful imagery was key here, showing people in their element having fun, developing and improving their fitness. Again Media Village believe in a completely collaborative process for our photography, involving the staff members through the whole process to ensure our photography will serve their marketing in the manner it deserves.
Offering a complete in-house solution for all digital, lithographic and wide format print requirements Media Village were able to advise, produce and deliver a whole range of products to ensure the brand, building and company where noticed and portrayed in the ethos and messaging wanted for their customers. Brand consistency is so important so it was beneficial for Adrenaline to work with a company who could manage and produce the whole project in-house. Working with the client to ascertain where signage would be situated and how marketing would be distributed Media Village advised and delivered a range of products that exceeded their expectations.
Thought was given for the complete client experience when visiting the facilities. Everything needed to be on on-brand and to display and portray the message and ethos of the centre. Through the design, production and installation of signage, banners, merchandise, uniforms and social media boards this has been achieved.
Our public relations team worked with the client to generate media attention running up to the launch of Grip & Go. The launch weekend included special guests and events with competitions and local involvement from celebrities & MPs. Further press features included Children in Need fundraising, which featured on the BBC and Christmas ‘Elf Training’ events.
