Services

Our Packaging Design Service

From FMCG and DTC to premium retail brands, Media Village designs packaging that sells. Our approach balances eye-catching visuals with practical functionality – making sure every box, sleeve, or label feels unmistakably yours, and works across supply chains, shelves, and screens. It’s all under our Creative Graphic Design Services.

Custom Box and Sleeve Design

We design branded boxes, sleeves, and wraps that showcase your product and bring your identity to life – from unboxing experience to in-store shelf appeal.

Food, Drink and FMCG Packaging

We understand compliance and consumer appeal. Whether you need clear nutritional layouts or shelf-dominating visuals, we design packaging that wins at point of sale.

Mailer and Subscription Packaging

Unboxing is marketing. We design distinctive mailer packaging for subscription boxes, ecommerce brands, and customer retention campaigns.

Packaging Mockups and 3D Visuals

See it before you print it. We create photorealistic mockups and 3D renders to help you test ideas, secure stakeholder buy-in, or market products pre-launch.

Brand-Aligned Packaging Systems

Need packaging for a full product line or SKU range? We design flexible packaging systems that scale – keeping your brand consistent from variant to variant.

POS, Stickers, and Labels

Not everything needs a box. We design point-of-sale packaging, product labels, and stickers that communicate fast and still look great in the hand or on the shelf.

Structural Packaging and Box Design

Whether you’re creating a retail-ready box or need custom-fit packaging for e-commerce, we handle both the design and structural layout. From dielines and folds to print finishes and mockups, we make sure your packaging doesn’t just look good — it functions beautifully too.

Not Just Aesthetic. Strategic

Our packaging doesn’t just look good. It works. We ask the right questions from the start – audience, function, unboxing, display – to make sure the final design delivers at every touchpoint.

We design for the whole picture: cost, shipping, handling, regulations. Whether it’s food labelling or courier robustness, we work with real specs from day one.

Regional Expertise. National Reach

Based in Lancashire, we’ve supported product launches across the UK. From local challenger brands to national FMCG, our design team understands what works where it matters.

Have Questions?

Your Packaging Design Questions Answered

What types of packaging can you design?

We design everything from custom boxes and sleeves to stickers, labels, and point-of-sale displays. If your product needs packaging, we can create it.

Can you work with our existing printer or packaging supplier?

Absolutely. We’ll supply all the correct files and formats your supplier needs – and we can liaise directly to make sure production goes smoothly.

Do you provide mockups or prototypes before printing?

Yes. We create photorealistic mockups and 3D visuals to help you review designs before anything goes to print. Physical prototypes can be arranged too, depending on your supplier.

What file formats will we receive?

You’ll receive print-ready files (CMYK with bleed), dielines, cutter guides, and digital versions for use online. We’ll also include editable files if needed.

How long does packaging design usually take?

Timelines vary based on scope and complexity. Simple projects can take 1–2 weeks, while full packaging systems or campaigns may need longer. We’ll map a timeline together at project start.

Can you help with the messaging and content on the pack?

Yes. Our copywriting team can help craft key messaging, product info, or compliance language – making sure every word aligns with your brand and purpose.

Do you offer packaging design near me?

We’re based in Lancashire but work with clients across the UK. Whether you’re local or remote, we keep communication clear and delivery on point.

What if I need multiple packaging variations?

No problem. We can build systems for multiple SKUs, flavours, languages, or pack sizes – keeping everything visually consistent but appropriately tailored.

Do you also handle print and production?

We can support you with sourcing and liaising with print and packaging suppliers, but we don’t handle in-house production. However, our wider team does offer print design and commercial print if needed.

Can I request changes after final delivery?

Yes. We keep all working files and offer support for updates, extensions, or reprints. If you’re on a retainer, you get priority turnaround for future changes.

Can you design packaging for my industry or product type?

Yes. From cosmetics and coffee to tech accessories and takeaway boxes – we tailor packaging to your product, goals, and sector. We’ve worked with clients across food, fashion, e-commerce, education, and more.

How does packaging design affect customer experience?

Great packaging isn’t just protective – it’s persuasive. It shapes your customer’s first impression, reinforces brand quality, and turns unboxing into a moment they remember (and share). We design with that in mind.

Do you offer packaging design near me?

We’re based in Lancashire and work with businesses across the North West – including Manchester, Blackburn, Preston, Burnley and beyond. Whether you’re local or nationwide, we design and deliver packaging that works in the real world – and we’re just a call away.

How much does packaging design cost?

It depends on complexity – but we’re always upfront. One-off designs can start from £XXX, and we offer retained support for growing brands. You’ll get a clear quote, no hidden extras.
