Where Are You Starting?

What Do You Need SEO to Change?

Launch a New Website on Strong Foundations

SEO decisions made during planning influence how easily a new website can grow. We use search demand, commercial priorities and existing performance to shape the structure, priority pages, content and measurement before launch. When an existing website is being replaced, we also help protect the rankings, URLs and authority it has already earned.

Turn an Underperforming Website Around

A website can look impressive and still generate very little through search. We identify whether the problem lies with technical barriers, weak commercial pages, missed search demand, limited authority or poor conversion journeys. The existing website is then improved in the order most likely to produce meaningful commercial progress.

Recover Lost Rankings and Visibility

Search performance can fall after website changes, technical problems, migrations, neglected content, algorithm updates or increased competition. We examine the website’s historical performance, identify what has changed and prioritise evidence-led improvements that protect its remaining value and help important pages earn renewed visibility.

Generate More Local Enquiries

For businesses serving defined locations, stronger local performance usually requires more than adding place names to a website. We connect service and location pages with Google Business Profile, reviews, business information, citations and locally relevant evidence to increase visibility where potential customers are searching.

Grow Organic Sales From Your Online Store

We improve how products, collections and categories are structured, discovered and understood across the customer journey. Depending on the opportunity, that can involve technical fixes, stronger commercial pages, supporting content, internal linking, authority building and conversion improvements across Shopify, WooCommerce and other e-commerce platforms.

Give Existing SEO a Clearer Direction

Your website may already rank, but growth has stalled, previous SEO activity has stopped or your internal team needs additional expertise. We assess what has already been built, preserve the work that still carries value and identify the next opportunities worth pursuing. We can manage the complete campaign or work alongside your existing marketing and development teams.

Find Out Whether SEO Is Worth the Investment

SEO is not automatically the right priority for every business. Search demand, competition, margins, website readiness and the value of each customer all affect its commercial potential. We assess those factors before recommending ongoing work and will tell you when another channel, website improvement or marketing priority is likely to deliver more value first.

Connected SEO

Get Found on Google – and Turn More Visits Into Business

Getting found on Google takes more than adding keywords. Search engines need to understand your website, customers need to land on the right pages, and those pages need to give them a reason to enquire or buy. We improve all three together.

  • Fix problems preventing important pages from being found
  • Improve the service, category and product pages customers land on
  • Create useful content around the questions people genuinely search
  • Make it easier for visitors to call, enquire, buy or take the next step

We regularly work with WordPress, WooCommerce and Shopify, and can collaborate with existing development teams across other website platforms.

Beyond The Website

Build Trust Wherever Customers Find You

Google and AI tools look beyond your website when deciding which businesses to surface. Reviews, Google Business Profile, case studies, brand mentions, social activity, videos and relevant links all help show that your business is established, active and genuinely knowledgeable.

  • Help local customers find you in Google Search and Maps
  • Build stronger reviews and consistent business information
  • Turn genuine work and expertise into case studies, social content and video
  • Earn relevant coverage, citations, brand mentions and links

We prioritise this activity wherever it can strengthen visibility and trust – not simply to fill a content calendar or make a monthly report look busy.

Managed SEO Services

What Our Managed SEO Service Covers

Every campaign begins with diagnosis. We assess your commercial priorities, website, search demand, competitors and historic performance, then prioritise the work most likely to improve results. The focus evolves as performance changes, keeping each stage centred on the next best opportunity.

SEO Strategy and Opportunity Analysis

We establish what organic growth should achieve for your business before deciding where to focus. This includes reviewing existing performance, commercial priorities, competitors, search demand and the opportunities your website is currently missing.

The result is a prioritised SEO strategy based on potential impact rather than a fixed monthly checklist.

Technical SEO and Site Architecture

We identify problems affecting how search engines crawl, understand and index your website. This can include site structure, internal linking, duplication, redirects, templates, structured data, page speed and indexation controls.

Where development work is required, we provide clear recommendations and work alongside your internal team or existing developers to get them implemented.

Commercial Pages and Content

We strengthen the pages most closely connected to enquiries and sales, including service pages, product collections, individual products and key landing pages.

Existing content may be improved, consolidated or repositioned, while new pages are created when genuine gaps exist. Every addition must serve a clear search intent and a useful role within the wider website.

Local SEO and Google Business Profile

We help businesses improve their visibility across relevant local searches and Google Maps. This can involve Google Business Profile optimisation, local landing pages, reviews, citations, location signals and locally relevant content.

Website and profile activity are managed together to build a stronger and more consistent local presence.

E-commerce SEO

We improve how online stores organise, present and connect their collections, products and supporting information. Technical indexation, filters, internal linking, product data, category content and conversion journeys can all form part of the strategy.

Performance is measured against product visibility, qualified traffic, customer actions and organic revenue.

Authority Building and Off-Page SEO

We assess the authority signals surrounding your website and identify where greater trust or relevance is needed. Activity may include citations, brand mentions, partnerships, relevant editorial links and digital PR where it suits the business.

Link acquisition supports the wider strategy and is judged by relevance and value rather than arbitrary volume targets.

AI Search and Emerging Discovery

Search visibility now extends beyond traditional rankings into AI-generated answers, featured snippets, images, video and other discovery platforms.

Our AI SEO services explore this area in greater depth, including semantic coverage, entity relationships, structured data and the use of genuine first-party expertise. We also consider how written, visual and video content can work together across changing search environments.

Measurement, CRO and Ongoing Improvement

We use Google Search Console, GA4, ranking data and user behaviour to understand what is changing and where the next opportunity sits.

Visibility and traffic matter, but they are assessed alongside enquiries, sales and customer actions. Findings are used to refine priorities, improve conversion journeys and guide the next phase of work.

SEO Pricing

SEO Pricing Built Around Your Goals

SEO pricing depends on where you are starting, how competitive your market is and how quickly you want to move. These starting points show the level of support typically suited to different growth goals. We review your website before recommending the investment that makes commercial sense. Your campaign remains flexible, with the budget directed towards the work most likely to improve results.

Choosing an SEO Agency

What Should You Expect From an SEO Agency?

First Establish Whether SEO Is Worthwhile

Before recommending any investment, we consider the available search demand, competition, your current website and the potential value of improved visibility.

If SEO is suitable, you receive a clear starting point. If another activity is likely to make a greater difference, we’ll tell you.

Investment with a Clear Purpose

Your price reflects the competitiveness of the opportunity, the work required and the pace at which it can realistically be progressed.

If more investment would help, we explain what it would enable us to do and why it is worth considering before anything changes.

Priorities That Change with the Evidence

Technical fixes, commercial pages, local search, content, authority and conversion improvements are prioritised according to what will make the greatest difference now.

The focus evolves as performance changes, and new content is shaped around genuine knowledge from your business.

The Value Already Built Is Protected

Existing rankings, pages, links and search history can take years to establish. Before URLs, content, templates or entire websites are changed, we assess what needs protecting and plan accordingly.

SEO considerations can then guide redirects, migrations and redesign decisions before valuable visibility is accidentally lost.

Results Tied Back to the Business

Rankings, impressions and clicks help us understand performance. Calls, enquiries, sales and revenue show whether that visibility is producing commercial value.

If the offer, pricing, website experience or another business issue is restricting results, we will identify it and help determine what should happen next.

Let’s work together

Ready to See What SEO Could Do for Your Business?

We’ve worked with:

Have Questions?

Straight Answers to Common SEO Questions

What does an SEO agency actually do each month?

The work depends on what your website needs at that point. One month may focus on technical problems or site structure; another may prioritise service pages, product collections, local visibility, content, authority or conversion improvements.

We review performance, identify the most valuable next actions and use the available budget accordingly. You will know what is being worked on, why it matters and how it connects to your wider goals.

How much do your SEO services cost?

Our SEO services currently start from £700 + VAT per month for focused local campaigns. Broader growth campaigns start from £1,050 + VAT per month, while advanced national, e-commerce and multi-location campaigns start from £2,800 + VAT per month.

Standalone Google Business Profile management starts from £350 + VAT per month.

Your final price depends on the competition, condition of the website, size of the opportunity and pace at which the work needs to progress.

How long does SEO take to work?

Some improvements can appear within weeks, particularly when an established website has clear technical problems or pages sitting just outside prominent positions. Most businesses should expect to invest for several months before judging the wider commercial trend.

Three to six months is a reasonable initial window, but new websites and highly competitive markets can take longer. We monitor early indicators while working towards sustained improvements in enquiries, sales and organic revenue.

Is SEO suitable for every business?

No. SEO works best when people are already searching for what you provide and the value of winning those customers justifies the investment.

It may not be the immediate priority if you need enquiries straight away, your proposition is still unproven, the website is about to be replaced or the business cannot currently accommodate more demand. We assess that before recommending a campaign.

Will you make the SEO changes or just send us recommendations?

Wherever practical, we make the changes rather than handing you an audit and leaving you to work through it. That can include improving page structure and copy, internal linking, technical fixes, content, tracking and local search assets.

Where something requires specialist development, design or input from your team, we coordinate the work with the right people and explain why it matters. Any substantial work or third-party cost outside the agreed SEO budget will always be discussed before anything goes ahead.

Can you guarantee first-page rankings?

No SEO agency controls Google, competitors or future search behaviour, so a specific position cannot be guaranteed responsibly.

The aim is to improve your visibility for searches capable of generating business, including page-one and top-ranking positions where they are realistically achievable. No legitimate SEO agency can guarantee a permanent number-one ranking because search results, competitors and Google’s systems continually change.

Is SEO still worth investing in now that people use AI search?

Yes, although the way people discover and evaluate businesses is changing. Google’s AI search experiences still rely heavily on its core search systems and content that can be crawled, indexed, understood and trusted.

Our approach strengthens the technical structure, commercial relevance, first-hand expertise and supporting evidence behind your website. Our AI SEO services explain how this extends into AI-generated answers and emerging search experiences.

Do I need a new website before starting SEO?

Usually not. Established websites often contain valuable history, rankings, content and links that can be improved without starting again.

We first establish whether the existing website can support the required changes. If its structure, technology or user experience is seriously limiting growth, we will explain what needs replacing and ensure existing SEO value is protected during any redesign or migration.

Can you recover rankings or traffic after a major drop?

Potentially, but recovery begins with understanding what caused the decline. We review historical performance, algorithm updates, crawling and indexation, redirects, removed pages, content changes, links and recent development work.

Some websites have recoverable value that has been weakened by poor decisions or technical problems. Others need more substantial improvements before search engines will reassess them. We will explain what the evidence suggests before recommending a recovery plan.

Do I need SEO if I already run Google Ads?

SEO and paid advertising can work well together. Google Ads can generate immediate visibility and provide useful information about the searches and landing pages that produce customers. SEO can then build longer-term visibility around proven opportunities.

Running both also reduces dependence on a single channel. The appropriate balance depends on your timescale, margins, competition and existing organic performance.

What will you need from our team?

We normally need access to the website, Google Search Console, GA4 and any relevant Google Business Profiles or reporting platforms.

We will also need your knowledge. Details about services, products, pricing, customers, completed work and common sales questions help us represent the business accurately. Timely feedback and approvals allow useful changes to be implemented more quickly.

How will you measure whether SEO is working?

We monitor rankings, impressions and clicks to understand how search visibility is changing. We then connect that activity to meaningful website actions such as calls, forms, quote requests, purchases and organic revenue.

The correct measures depend on the role of the website. Reporting should show what changed, what work contributed to it and what the evidence suggests we should prioritise next.

Do you only provide SEO services in Lancashire?

No. Media Village is based in Lancashire and works with businesses throughout the county and the wider North West, but our SEO campaigns can support organisations anywhere in the UK.

Location matters most when local visibility is part of the strategy. For national, e-commerce and specialist campaigns, market knowledge, access to the website and close communication are more important than physical distance.
